A third-generation entrepreneur, Moshe Popack is a business and community leader driven by his commitment to family, faith, community, and devotion to his country.
Moshe is proud to serve as Chairman & CEO of YMP Real Estate Management, a private real estate firm he co-founded with his wife, Yaffa. YMP is engaged in the acquisition and management of multi-family, assisted living, and commercial properties. YMP REM has a portfolio consisting of approximately 4,000 multi-family units and 1.3 million square feet of commercial space. YMP’s portfolio is located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, and New Jersey.
YMP’s business philosophy is to be highly entrepreneurial, aggressive, and creative in its property management and acquisition practices, yet disciplined in managing its investment plans and budgets. YMP creates long-term value in every asset it manages and prides itself on delivering extraordinary service to all its tenants.
Before co-founding YMP, Moshe’s early achievements include an undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in New York, an M.B.A. from Long Island University, and a Juris Doctor from Touro Law School. Although he was admitted to the New York Bar in 2005, Moshe instead pursued his passion for real estate, which led him and Yaffa to relocate to Miami in 2007, where they started their dream of establishing and building YMP Real Estate Management.
Motivated by an empathic vision instilled in him from an early age, Moshe is dedicated to supporting communities and promoting meaningful engagement on issues such as mental health, nutrition, education, and housing. He has launched several philanthropic initiatives and – along with Yaffa – has established the YMP Family Foundation which promotes healthy nutrition among young families and their children.
Moshe and Yaffa’s most recent philanthropic initiative is Neighborhood Farms USA®, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes the benefits of establishing and maintaining community gardens that provide access to fresh, nutrient-rich produce and educates through practical community-building programs, newsletters, and on-line workshops. The goal of Neighborhood Farms USA® is to generate greater awareness for healthy nutrition among families and their children and encourage communities to work together to cultivate land and harvest crops.
Additionally, Moshe proudly serves as a board member of the Florida Development Finance Corporation. Appointed to the position in 2021 by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Moshe is an integral part of the team overseeing the allocation of over two billion dollars for job creation and economic growth in Florida.
In addition to FDFC, Moshe previously served on the board of the Florida Assisted Living Association, and is currently an official member of the South Florida Business Journal Leadership Trust and a member of the Young Presidents’ Association.
He’s also the host of the Common Denominator podcast which serves as a forum for optimism, positivity, and human development. Each week Moshe chats with thought leaders, innovators, and pioneers across various fields and – through critical thinking and spirited debate – encourages his audience to find common ground on everyday issues that are current and top of mind.
Above all, Moshe is a dedicated family man deeply anchored in his strong values and faith. His wife, Yaffa, and their ten children are the guiding forces behind his quest to promote a more civil, prosperous, and caring world. Each month, Moshe shares his #POSITIVITY newsletter with our ever-growing community.
